Celebration of the Glorious Throne Day in Prague

More than 200 prestigious guests attended the reception organized by HE Mrs Souriya OTMANI, Ambassador of the kingdom of Morocco, on the occasion of the celebration of the glorious throne day which marks this year, the 14th anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King Mohamed VI to the throne of his glorious ancestors. The reception was held on the premises of the Hotel Hilton Old Prague, in Prague, the 30 July, 2013.
After the listening of the Moroccan and Czech national anthems, and in her welcoming speech, Mrs Ambassador recalled how the celebration of the Throne day is always a very special event for the Moroccan people, who are so proud and so closely attached to their Monarchy. She underlined that the Monarchy is always in the heart of the progress and the development made by the nation and that it is also the symbol of the stability and the permanence of the state, the defender of its spiritual values and the guarantor of the unity of the country.
Mrs Ambassador added she is honored to serve her country in the Czech Republic, a wonderful and friendly country with whom Morocco is having diplomatic relations for fifty four years now. She was pleased to inform that both sides are working closely to strengthen and maintain the very positive trend that Moroccan –Czech bilateral relations are so happily enjoying. She also recalled that a bilateral tourism agreement on tourism has been signed on March 2013 in Prague and that the number of Czech tourists visiting Morocco is rapidly increasing. In the same vein, she announced that the Moroccan airlines, Royal Air Maroc, will launch directs flights from Casablanca to Prague and from Prague to Casablanca, as of February 2014. Therefore she invited all the guests to visit or visit once more, the colorful and vibrant Kingdom of Morocco!
The reception lasted for three hours and a Moroccan buffet, including sweets was served to the guests while some Czech rhythmic melodies coupled to traditional Moroccan Andalusian music was performed by the talented singer Marcela Kralova.
